Time Requirement
The entire Game Design pathway takes about 30 weeks to complete. Each module requiring 7.5 weeks.
2 live classes are facilitated by the university (2 hour).

Game Design
The Game Design pathway consist of four parts, mainly; Introduction to Game Design, 2D Animation and Graphics, 3D Digital and Game Design, and Advanced Game Design and Development.
Extra Time
An additional 3 hours of self-study per week is needed to better understand and practise the course content of that week.

THE PATHWAY
module 1
INTRODUCTION TO GAME DESIGN
Foundational principles and theories of game design, development, and analysis. Students will have the opportunity to create their own board games and concepts.
module 2
2D ANIMATION AND GRAPHICS
Foundational instruction in the art of creating digital 2D content for applications in animation, interactive, and game design.
module 3
3D DIGITAL AND GAME DESIGN
Beginning digital 3D content creation for use in animation, fabrication, game design, and interactive digital environments. Includes textual analysis of video games and game mechanisms.
module 4
ADVANCED GAME DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
An advanced study of game design and development, including student-directed research and experimentation culminating in a fully developed game or game concept.
